Specializing in mixed-media assemblage and crazy creativity\, Mary cannibalizes bits and bobs from ordinary items and turns them into works that are completely unexpected. Join us at GIB on June 7th from 1-4pm to meet Mary and marvel at her amazing art\, just in time for Father’s Day! \nArtist’s Statement: “Junk is my medium. Vintage typewriters and cameras\, broken VCRs and DVDs\, creepy doll parts and other “found objects.” My steampunk-persuaded art brings together the discards and fragments of industrial society with natural elements such as wood and copper\, interpreting the histories of forgotten things.
