Gail Rudisill’s original acrylic on canvas painting is on display with the Painted Ladies Artist Exhibition. She says, “This painting has a history. It started out as an impression of the hills of Ireland with the forty shades of green. That did not turn out at all as I had hoped, so as a joke I posted it publicly with a request for suggestions. Suggestions were for little critters peeking out of a wall, tulip(s), and purple. I took each of these suggestions to heart, thinking I’d just paint over all of it when I finished having fun, but as luck would have it, I actually liked the end product. So I’ll call it ‘A Little Help From My Friends.'”
