‘Smiling Through the Grey’ Original Painting – Sherry Lazaroff

Uplifting framed gouache painting by Sherry Lazaroff. Inspired by Neurographic Art which was developed by Pavel Piskarov in 2015. His theory (a brief review) is that throughout our lives we create new lines of neurons in our brain. These lines and synapses may bring us to dark places. They will always be there throughout our lives. However, we can add happier thoughts, creating new lines and neurons of thought.

Artist Quote: “There is nothing like creating something that came from you, now discovered, and new. Something you’ve never seen or done before. Something exciting or dismal, it came from you. This is how I view my art. Weaving a little of this and a little of that. Weaving all your thoughts, your experience, your explorations into something new.” – Sherry Lazaroff
