Spring Jubilee 2024 – Artist at Gifts Inn Boonsboro

Join our community in a celebration of spring!

The exciting kick-off to the spring season that all the local folks know means that Spring Has Sprung! That’s right, it’s time for Boonsboro’s Spring Jubilee! Mark your calendar right away for Saturday, April 27th, for activities, food, shopping and fun for the whole family!
You know Gifts Inn Boonsboro is right in the thick of things. We’ve snagged the always-entertaining Irene Vangsness as our featured artist! You know how some people just exude spring energy? People who have a bounce in their step, a shimmer to their smile, a glimmer of laughter in their eyes? That’s our Spring Jubilee featured Meet the Maker artist, Irene Vangsness of Midsummer Glassworks. Irene’s just as much fun as her creations, whimsical glass pieces that are so delightful you almost forget how useful they are.

Irene works in fused glass, also known as kiln-formed glass, adding her own unique charm to her trays and bowls and sushi plates that will quickly become your favorite pieces to use. She’s super generous about sharing her process and inspiration, sharing the love of creating beauty with practicality.
She’ll be here from 11am – 2pm during the Jubilee— showing off her fun and functional fused glass products and talking about her process. Make sure that your visit gives you time to drop by to meet her, and enjoy some snacks and prizes and the springily cheerful GIB Bellas to help you make the most of your visit. We can’t wait to boing into the bright spring energy with you!
