Meet the Artist

Erin Ragheb is a visual illustrator hailing from Frederick County, specializing in hand-crafted portraits of historic structures and homes in Central Maryland. Utilizing watercolor, pen, and colored pencils, she creates timeless pieces that encapsulate the memories and emotions tied to place and belonging.

Erin began her professional journey as a field biologist, focusing on critically endangered birds. Her love for beautiful spaces and meticulous attention to detail enrich her artistic process. Selected as the artist-in-residence at the E. N. Huyck Preserve in Upstate New York, she completed several works that celebrate the area’s natural history. One of her notable paintings, “Saturday Stroll,” featuring Carroll Creek Park, was donated to the Delaplaine Arts Center Oz Gala to support the arts in downtown Frederick.

Recently, an article highlighting Erin’s artistic journey was published in the winter edition of FiNDiT Frederick magazine. She is also the owner of Dendroica Studio, a custom illustration business where she collaborates with private clients to produce hand-painted artwork that reflects their family’s unique legacy. Many of these projects incorporate historic reference images, creating vivid representations of times gone by.
