Meet The Artist: “Layla is a Maryland-based multimedia artist. Their creations express many things— joy, beauty, diversity, shadow, death, rebirth, queer identity, and connection. Featured among the many designs that Layla creates are mandalas, a meditative practice that goes back centuries.

Layla is a Hellenic Pagan Polytheist specializing in shadow and death work. They facilitate a monthly Death Cafe at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick, and lend their artistic talents to memorial art projects. They are also part of the Pagan folk music project, Kindred Crow, bringing mystery and melody to the world.”
