This eye-catching platter was hand-formed by Spencer Dofflemyer of NPC.Design from reclaimed clay, then hand-painted and glazed with this arresting dragon and the intricate linework framing the rim.

ABOUT: Spencer Dofflemyer is an artistic professional with a robust portfolio in ceramics, visual design and gallery work that strives to facilitate community engagement. He is a graduate of the Temple University Tyler School of Art. He moved from Philly to Mercersburg, PA about a year ago. He works as a freelance artist and a teaches pottery in a studio in Gettysburg, PA. As of February 2026, he agreed to consign some of his pottery to Gifts Inn Boonsboro!!! We’re eyeing his larger vessel pottery pieces and planning for the future.
