‘Sassy’ is a sneaky piece, looking at a casual glance like a nice wooden clock.

Look a little closer.

Sassafras and mahogany wood make up her basic structure, but then Mary throws a hygrometer, a gas regulator, a pocketwatch, and some quartz clock movement just for good measure, all into her cauldron and this is what emerges.
