Step into the world of local artist Joseph Case and immerse yourself in his enchanting “Country Musings.” Joe has cherished a “deep appreciation for beauty and a drive to create it” since childhood, and his artwork vividly reflects this passion.

Joe’s paintings elegantly capture the interplay of light and value, showcasing his love for flowers, historical architecture, and the serene pastoral beauty of Maryland, including its enchanting Eastern Shore. His canvases come alive with beatific

landscapes, charming small town buildings, and idyllic pastoral scenes that transport viewers to a place of tranquility and wonder.

Having recently moved full-time to his country house in the magical “Pleasant Valley,” near Rohrersville, MD, Joe invites you to join him at the Inn Boonsboro on September 27th. Enjoy the opportunity to meet the artist and discuss his creations within the comfortable elegance of this historic bed and breakfast.

About Joe: “Beginning in childhood, Joe Case has always had a deep appreciation for beauty and a drive to create it. After years of artistic careers including floral design, furniture restoration and painting, and interior design and remodeling, he began his painting career in 2011. He has studied in both the classical and contemporary tradition with accomplished East Coast artists Maggie Siner, Tim Bell & Colin Page.

Joe’s paintings reveal focus on light and value and his compositions typically include his passion for flowers, historical architecture, and the pastoral beauty of Maryland, as well as Maryland’s Eastern shore, where he spent summers at his grandparents place in Rehoboth Beach. He recently sold his home in Washington DC and is living full-time at his country house in the magical “Pleasant Valley,” near Rohrersville, outside of Frederick, MD.”

About William: “William Roberts is a Percussionist, Composer, and Fine Arts Painter; he practices combining the disciplines of Fine Arts and Musical Expression. William is the first artist in the Washington D.C. Area to perform original music inspired by his paintings at the Foundry Gallery in June of 1987. William’s visual art varies in extremes from Abstract-Surrealism, portraiture, and landscapes.

William has been influenced by his Professor Walter Kravitz at George Mason University and has studied Forensic Art with the renowned Lois Gibson at Northwestern University. William’s work has been procured into many private collections along with multiple portrait commissions. William is currently finishing his 10th CD along with another recording project in Eulogy to the First World War. William is looking forward to putting full time attention to his art and music after working over 40 years in the mental health field.”
