ABOUT EMMA WILLIAMS: “Throughout 2024, I printed a set of cyanotypes using plants growing in the orchards and forest near my home. I also learned to make inks from the foraged materials, such as black walnuts and peach tree bark, and from household materials like avocado pits and turmeric. I wanted to notice, name, and celebrate the plants that appear and recede as the seasons shift. I also sought a new approach to art-making. I am concerned about the public health impacts of routine plastic use, including the materials in standard acrylic paints. Therefore, I am developing an art-making approach that is rooted in its place of origin and releases less pollution.”

ABOUT JANNON BAER: “Jannon, a painter, dancer, and drummer from Washington County, MD, focuses on helping others connect with the present and find joy through art and movement. She has exhibited her work in various galleries and participated in community projects, including a mural in Hagerstown. Jannon holds a BFA in Painting and a minor in Printmaking from Shepherd University. In addition to painting, she teaches various dance styles, blending meditative practices for healing. She values her teachers and enjoys nature, drumming with a band, and spending time with her son, Kiran.”

CAROLYN SEIBERT-DRAGER ‘Garden Beauty’ Exhibit March 29thth – May 31st 2026 Photography on display at Gifts Inn Boonsboro.

OPENING RECEPTION: March 29th, 2026 from 1 – 3pm

ABOUT by CAROLYN SEIBERT-DRAGER: “My photography is infused with my love of flowers and bright colors, sprinkled with an affection for poster and pop art. Photos are literally a snapshot in time, and I relish giving my flowers more time to be seen and loved.

I’m often asked why I always use my business name rather than my own; it’s because it reflects the roots of my inspiration. I grew up on a small dairy farm in Pennsylvania, and named my photography business in honor of my late father. My love of the land and everything that grows on it is deep in my soul, a bond with and a gift from my dad.

I have been a photographer most of my adult life, though primarily for work as part of a career in communications. I finally stopped ignoring a different potential side to my photography during the coronavirus pandemic. The idea of pursuing a more playful, creative version had been germinating — pun intended — in the back of my mind for months, and eventually I gave it a try. I’m having even more fun than I imagined.

A quote by botanist Luther Burbank from more than 100 years ago hangs in my studio: “Who does not love flowers? For whom will not flowers make more sunshine?” My photos are a reminder to take time to see and embrace the extraordinary all around us.”

OPENING RECEPTION: June 14th, 2026 from 1 – 3PM.

ABOUT: Bruce Wilder is a Keedysville resident who dabbled in photography since he was a child. “My dad was always taking pictures, so my interest grew from that experience,” he said. “For years, all I took were black-and-white images that I developed and printed in my own darkroom. When digital came along, I began doing more color work.”

While working in other fields, as a carpenter, author head-shot photographer, then later on the owner of Turn the Page Bookstore, Wilder also participated in many photography and/or art contests and won several. He admitted he might be considered a professional photographer, but he added, “It’s not my main job.”

As a freelance photographer living in the Western Maryland area Wilder has freedom to move about and photograph what he likes. He has a studio in the local area and, recently, has focused on portrait and fine art figure work there. While, alternately, he focuses on landscape and natural scenes when traveling across the U.S. or abroad.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a delightful afternoon celebrating art, history, and community.

“I’ve always found inspiration in the architecture and landscapes of New England. I’m especially drawn to the light and shadows that only the change of seasons in New England can provide.”

“That’s Not Photography”

Opening Reception July 23rd 2 – 4 pm

Thom Davis doesn’t paint with watercolors or oils. He paints in pixels. Starting with a photo of something that catches his fancy, he begins his transformational process to get the observer to bypass the well-worn story the image usually prompts and look deeper.
With a passion that began when he was only eight, Thom is fascinated by the use of color, shape, gesture and mood to elevate photography to a tool that allows us to see past the obvious and attune ourselves to the infinite messages that surround us at all times.
As you can imagine, this makes him an extremely interesting person. Come meet him and begin the journey!

Thom’s work will be on display at Inn BoonsBoro until September 17th. If you are interested in viewing his work, you can schedule an appointment with the Gifts Inn Boonsboro.
